The Old Time Printers of yesteryear, much like us
embroiderers of today, did not like to leave any empty
space undecorated! In that spirit, we submit for your
perusal the Country Woodcut Collection— drawn from an
old book of printer’s woodcut ornaments. First, a solid
block of luscious color is laid down. Then, tiny satin stitch
details are added, giving these a quaint hand-stitched
look.
Many different effects can be achieved by altering the
color of the background stitching—we used brown for a
soft effect, but you can match or contrast with your fabric,
or use black for a stunning look with this versatile set. A
full set of color charts for the colors shown is provided.
Because of the double stitched nature of these designs,
we recommend a heavyweight stabilizer with 505 spray.
All designs fit the 4x4 hoop.

Wicker Basket, Orange Blossom; Grape Bunch, Acorns,
Woodcut Vase, Rooster, Grape Wreath, Bluebird,
